About The Position
The Morning Star Company is seeking a Dashboard / Report Developer to join their team in Woodland, CA. This is an on-site role with no remote work, relocation, or sponsorship offered. The company operates three tomato processing facilities and is a major player in the global tomato ingredient market. The purpose of this role is to provide colleagues with ready access to accurate and timely reports to improve productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a genuine curiosity for data context, and a service-oriented mindset. The SQL Report Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining Microsoft Business Intelligence reporting products for Accounting/Administration, Manufacturing, and Agricultural departments, as well as data warehouse design and implementation.
Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience designing and developing dashboards with MS PowerBI
- 1-3 years of MS SQL coding experience

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Microsoft PowerBI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Design, develop, and maintain databases and stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studios (SSMS)
- Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources
- Manage the distribution of reports with scheduled and data driven subscriptions
- Work with limited database documentation to build accurate queries directly in SQL, which may involve reverse engineering existing stored procedures and reports
- Collaborate with Business Unit colleagues to determine development needs for data automation, dashboards, and reporting requirements under tight timelines
- Provide status reports detailing current project progress and time devoted to each task
