About The Position

Creation Station Dance is seeking a part-time, permanent dance teacher who is magical, fun, energetic, inspiring, responsible, highly organized, flexible, loves to teach children, and is comfortable around adults. The ideal candidate must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (at least first doses) and proficient in ballet, tap, and hip hop to teach young children, starting from 16 months old, with most students under 8 years old. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as is living in reasonable proximity to the studio. This position involves teaching multiple times during the week and on weekends, with an initial need for Sunday afternoons. Desk shifts may also be available during the week. The role has the potential for professional growth into a Full Time Studio Director position. Applicants must have dance experience/training and be seeking permanent employment.

Requirements

Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (at least first doses).
Proficient in ballet, tap, and hip hop.
Experience/training in dance.
Ability to teach young children (16 months to 8 years old).
Responsible, organized, fun, energetic, and flexible.
Comfortable teaching children and interacting with adults.
Punctual and on time for work.
Live in reasonable proximity to the studio.
Available weekdays and weekends.
