About The Position

Fred Astaire Dance Studios is hiring a high-energy, customer-focused Dance Instructor to teach private and group dance classes throughout the week. Instructors help students reach personal dance goals, whether they are preparing for a single event or pursuing a lifelong journey of dance. The role involves working with people from all walks of life and contributing to a welcoming, non-judgmental studio community. Instructors participate in studio activities including lessons, performances, parties, and dance competitions. Studio hours are maintained throughout the week, and instructors are expected to attend some events held on weekday evenings and weekends. The company provides initial and ongoing dance training, a curriculum and teaching program, coaching, and opportunities to develop dance and business skills and advance professionally, including toward studio ownership. Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience, opportunities to earn bonuses, and competition winnings. Responsibilities

Conduct private and group dance classes throughout the week.
Help students achieve their personal dance goals, from preparing for a single event to developing their dancing over time.
Attend events with students, including some weekday evening and weekend events.
Participate in studio activities such as performances, parties, and competitions.
Work with students of all ages and contribute to a welcoming, supportive studio environment.
