About The Position

We’re looking for energetic After School Dance Teachers to lead fun, creative, age-appropriate dance classes for students aged 5–10 in elementary schools across multiple Bay Area locations. Classes have 5–10 students and use provided lesson plans. The role includes creating a positive, engaging environment and handling class logistics, student attendance, parent or staff communication, and session photos. Teachers may attend up to two unpaid training or shadowing sessions to learn the program structure.

The schedule is on weekdays between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM for 2–5 hours per week. The position is part-time and pays $50–$60 per hour. Local candidates are sought; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, with no visa assistance available.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Have reliable Bay Area transportation.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoy working with children and be able to manage a classroom professionally.
• Be reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be fully vaccinated and willing to complete a background check.
• Be a local candidate and authorized to work in the United States; visa assistance is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in dance, through teaching or performing, is preferred.
• Ability to teach more than one sport, including Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball, Soccer, Yoga, PE Teacher/Olympic Hopes, or Floor Hockey.

Responsibilities

• Take attendance, sign students in and out, and communicate with parents or staff.
• Capture session highlights with photos.
