Requirements

Entry-level position; prior collision repair or disassembly experience preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damages accurately.
Organizational skills to manage parts carts, bolt bins, and repair documentation.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with estimators and team members.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Fully disassemble vehicles according to the repair plan and extent of damages.
Identify and document all damages related to the facts of loss.
Properly organize parts carts and bolt bins to ensure efficient workflow.
Work directly with estimators to review and communicate supplemental damages.
Identify and resolve parts required for repair; review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Manager’s notes; notify supervisor of any repair add-ons.
Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills, including manufacturer repair processes.
Advise body shop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs, or if repairs will not be completed on time.
