About The Position

Operation of the Daktronics Equipment during the Live Racing Season. This role involves operating the control computer and related equipment during Live Racing and Corporate Events, displaying marketing promotions, advertising commercials, on-track entertainment, talent, entertainment videos, and various graphics. The operator will work with Marketing to ensure all Daktronics Content is available for viewing, maintain and properly operate Daktronics equipment, and report any equipment problems to their supervisor and Daktronics for repairs. The use of Adobe Photoshop may be necessary. Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime are required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or three years related experience and/or training; or combination 3 years’ work related experience and/or training; or combination.
• Video experience
• Computer experience
• Technically minded
• Detail oriented
• Works well under pressure
• Willingness to learn
• Customer Service skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
• Texas Racing Commission License (TXRC)
• Will be required to lift up to or over 20lbs or exert occasionally over 50lbs
• Will consistently be required to touch, feel, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach
• Will use office equipment
• Driving motor vehicles as needed
• Frequently speak and articulate
