About The Position
This position provides food processing services from the Milk Plant to a Major institution in accordance with state, federal and Department of Corrections (DOC) policies and procedures. The role involves processing and contributing finished products to other facilities in the region. The supervisor will train and supervise inmate labor in the operation of the Milk Plant Processing Plant and auxiliary equipment of an adult institution, ensuring a safe and secure work environment. Responsibilities also include supervising the preparation and distribution of processing products within the region.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of recipes, Sanitation Standard Operation Procedures (SSOP), Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Internal Operating Procedures (IOP).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
