About The Position

We are looking for Dairy Processing Operators to join our team! At West Bend, we specialize in cream cheese – that meet our customers’ needs and appeal to consumer tastes worldwide.

Requirements

Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely with minimal supervision
Reliability- Attendance is an essential function
Mechanically inclined
Self-motivated, detail orientated individual who possesses a results-oriented mindset in a team environment
Basic math skills and reading comprehension
No degree is required

Responsibilities

Operate within our Process areas such as: Intake, Separator Room and Batching rooms.
Operate cheese separators to remove whey from cheese mix producing uniform cream cheese within customer specifications.
Use computer to calculate quantities of raw materials needed to batch cream cheese mix for following day’s separating.
Operate pasteurizing equipment to produce mix based on these calculations.
Take samples and test solids of cream cheese products in standardizing system and adjust, if needed, within customer product specifications.
Complete all paperwork associated with equipment settings, products produced, and work performed.
Perform CIP, COP, and various cleanup functions on tanks, transfer lines, pasteurizer, and vats, as needed.
Other general duties as assigned by leadership.
