About The Position

This role is for an Inventory Associate at the Waukesha location, responsible for picking items from the backroom and stocking the salesfloor to ensure customers have a variety of high-quality items. The position requires complete compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements. Part-time opportunities are available in the Grocery Backroom, Frozen Department, and Dairy Department. Shifts are available from 5 AM - 1:30 PM or 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday. Previous experience in warehouse, production, or food service is a plus.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
  • Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
  • Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Process-driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
  • Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
  • Ability to work in cold environments such as cooler and freezer.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with customers.

  • Ability to work in cold environments such as dairy cooler or grocery freezer.
  • Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
  • Utilizing a forklift and other powered industrial tools.
  • Picking items from the backroom inventory management system.
  • Working backstock to inventory.
  • Keeping track of product inventory.
  • Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
