Requirements

Previous grocery, dairy/frozen, retail, or department management experience preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of inventory control, ordering, and product rotation
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking and reporting
Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)

Nice To Haves

Experience with POS systems and inventory software preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the dairy and frozen foods department
Ensure shelves, coolers, and freezers are stocked, rotated, and organized
Monitor product quality, freshness, and storage temperatures
Manage inventory levels, ordering, and shrink reduction efforts
Conduct inventory counts and adjust orders based on sales trends
Supervise, train, schedule, and support department team members
Maintain attractive product displays, signage, and pricing accuracy
Assist customers with product questions and special requests
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Collaborate with store leadership and vendors on product selection and deliveries
Support promotional plans, merchandising, and department sales goals
