About The Position
Working as a overnight Dairy/Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast paced retail environment. In this role, you deliver excellent customer service by living Walmart’s values, maintaining a clean, organized, and well zoned Dairy/Frozen department, and supporting stocking and sales activities. As part of the team, you help ensure fresh products are available and the department is always customer ready. Responsibilities
- Keeps the Dairy/Frozen department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
- Rotates merchandise regularly and checks for expired products to maintain freshness and quality standards.
- Ensures merchandise is accurately signed and priced. Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
- Adheres to cold chain and food safety standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Maintains department features to support merchandising standards and promotional execution.
- Maintains a neat, clean, and hazard-free work area by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, and by following all Company policies and Health and Safety guidelines.
