About The Position

Duxbury Public Schools is seeking exceptional candidates for the role of daily Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include providing whole class and small group instruction. Additional opportunities to serve as substitute instructional assistants are available. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Associate's Degree considered with relevant experience
• Willingness to support students with and without disabilities
• Flexibility and the ability to collaborate with students, teachers, support staff and Administrators

Responsibilities

• Providing whole class and small group instruction.
• Serving as substitute instructional assistants.
• Maintains the established routines and procedures of the classroom to which they are assigned.
• Follows and supports all school policies, rules and procedures.
• Maintains the confidentiality of the position, including all student and school personnel information.
