About The Position

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst – D365 Finance & Operations to join our Information Services team, based in either our Martinsville, VA or High Point, NC offices. This role is responsible for supporting, analyzing, and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) within a manufacturing and distribution environment. The Business Systems Analyst will partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to improve business processes, optimize ERP functionality, support users, and deliver reporting and system solutions that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting ERP applications, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of business operations within manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in business systems analysis, ERP support, or application analysis
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or similar ERP platforms preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SSRS, Power BI, and reporting tools preferred
  • Working knowledge of database environments and data structures preferred
  • Understanding of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or ERP business processes preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of business processes and workflows supported by Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Provide functional support for D365 F&O production, test, and development environments
  • Troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, and manage issue resolution through completion
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, document business needs, and recommend system solutions
  • Perform gap analysis and translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Partner with technical teams, developers, and vendors to implement enhancements, integrations, and customizations within D365 F&O
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI
  • Support and maintain D365 modules, workflows, workspaces, security roles, and master data processes
  • Train end users on system functionality, business processes, and data management procedures
  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and continuity of business operations
  • Support application deployments, testing, upgrades, and change management activities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Assist with system documentation, procedures, and best practices
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional business stakeholders
