About The Position

You will play a foundational role within the Web Experience team, whose mission is to build a new web application for ShareGate Migrate. The objective is to make the Microsoft 365 migration experience even more accessible and intuitive, directly from the browser. As a front-end developer, you will be at the heart of interface and user experience decisions. You will also contribute to backend development in C#/.NET as needed. We are looking for someone comfortable in both contexts, with a natural strength on the front-end side. A typical week involves contributing to the entire product development cycle: exploring product needs and experience constraints through research, prototyping, and team collaboration, using AI tools to accelerate the discovery phase; delivering visible features that concretely advance the product, week after week; collaborating daily with teammates and product partners through team rituals, design discussions, and asynchronous exchanges; sharing your learnings with the ShareGate Migrate engineering organization as the team discovers new interface or accessibility patterns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in delivering commercial software products with strong customer adoption.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing web applications with TypeScript and React.
  • Strong sensitivity to interface quality, accessibility, and user experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) in the daily development workflow.
  • Comfort with C#/.NET backend development: not necessarily an expert, but capable of contributing and learning in context.
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex and ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Clear and proactive communication, sense of responsibility, transparency, and ability to keep the team informed.
  • Experience with Microsoft APIs (Microsoft Graph, Azure AD / Entra ID, MSAL) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver rich, performant, and accessible interfaces that set the quality bar for the new web app experience from the early milestones.
  • Transform product designer mockups into reusable, well-structured, and coherent components that accelerate the development of each new feature.
  • Lay solid and durable front-end foundations from the start, contributing to scalable architectural decisions.
  • Reliably integrate Microsoft APIs (Microsoft Graph, Azure AD / Entra ID, MSAL) so that client-side authentication and migration scenarios work seamlessly in production.
  • Enable the delivery of complete end-to-end features by contributing to the C#/.NET backend as needed, in collaboration with other developers on the team.
  • Establish a front-end quality culture from day one, implementing testing practices that allow the team to deliver with confidence.
  • Advance the team's technical level through code reviews and knowledge sharing that elevates the collective skill.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to deliver a level of interface quality and volume that exceeds what a solo developer could otherwise achieve.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth
  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Supportive team culture
  • Focus on healthy work-life balance
