You will develop essential software that powers the collection, transformation, and delivery of market data used by our trading systems. Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
2-10 years of experience in software systems design.
A strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
Strong knowledge and experience in Python or C++. Experience in both is a plus.
A passion for financial markets and an interest in global events and their influence on market behavior.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a high regard for data quality and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

Experience with any of these technologies is a plus: Redis, RabbitMQ, GraphQL, Kafka, MongoDB, ELK, Docker, TCP, HTTP, Regex.
Experience with relational databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design scalable, high-performance software by applying software engineering best practices.
Lead code reviews, testing, and software architecture best practices discussions.
Collaborate with operations and trading teams to ensure production systems are in optimal state.
Research the latest technologies to improve our trading systems.
Drive projects and lead new initiatives.
Actively engage with other members of the development team to solve complex design and programming problems.
Work with complex, real-time market data while ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Collaborate with traders to explain technical challenges, trade-offs, and potential solutions to foster informed decision-making.
