About The Position

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for a Data & AI (Artificial Intelligence) Solutions Developer to join the Supply Chain Process and Performance team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). Our team is structured to promote autonomous, cross-functional collaboration, where mutual support and collective learning are core values. As the Data & AI Solutions Developer, you will play a key role to translate business processes and requirements into robust Data Products (applications and AI tools) to optimize A220 operations. You will play a key role in transforming complex data into decision-making levers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, PostgreSQL), Python (PySpark) for data processing, and JavaScript for UI customization in Slate.
  • Familiarity with LLM integration and Generative AI frameworks (e.g., Prompt Engineering).
  • Ability to navigate complex database architectures and understand data coordination (Data Objects, Data Roles, and data security aspects).
  • Able to vulgarize complex findings, translating technical data into clear, professional, and "business-ready" insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • An analytical rigorous approach with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to adapt quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of VBScript, C, or C++ is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy operational dashboards. You will be responsible for creating intuitive tools that enable production teams to visualize performance indicators in real time, ensure proper tracking, and analyze data.
  • Manage and structure "Objects" within the Skywise environment to guarantee reliable data read and write capabilities.
  • Analyze large datasets and build automated transformation pipelines to convert raw operational data into actionable insights.
  • Develop and integrate artificial intelligence tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to save operational time and provide advanced decision-support.
  • Master the extraction, cleansing, and correlation of data from SAP to ensure a "single source of truth" across the Skywise and Google Workspace environments.
  • Develop and maintain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), macros, and synchronization scripts to ensure a seamless flow of data between different IT ecosystems.
  • Monitor performance and support existing developments, identifying opportunities to upgrade them with the latest AI or Skywise features to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure proper documentation of code and procedures.
