About The Position
The Cytotechnologist prepares, screens, and records gynecological and non-gynecological cytological specimens and ensures cytology files are up to date. This is a technical position on the Lab team involving routine work that calls for service orientation, precision, concentration, attention to detail, complex data analysis, interpretation of information, and discretion and sound judgment in decision making. The position is based at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, and is scheduled Monday through Friday on day shift.
Requirements
- Hold Cytotechnologist, CT (ASCP) certification, or obtain certification by the hire date.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of previous experience is preferred.
