About The Position

The Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) is seeking a Cytotechnologist I to perform microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides for abnormal cellular changes. This role is responsible for referring appropriate cases for hierarchical review and performing all duties in accordance with state and federal regulations. The Cytotechnologist I will also maintain appropriate workload and quality assurance records and provide backup for cytology processing and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Liquid-based morphology certification: ThinPrep, TIS Review Scope, Surepath, and Focal Point.
• Meet CLIA requirements (CFR.493.1483).
• Meet state licensure requirements, if applicable.
• Meet ASCP requirements for Cytotechnologist
• Graduated from an accredited Cytology program
• Bachelor’s degree in biological science
• Completion of a Cytology program
• ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification

Nice To Haves

• A Hologic Genius certification is highly desirable for this position, although not required.
