Prepare GYN and non-GYN smears and stain them according to the type of specimen, coverslip and arrange numerically on trays; prepare reagents and other solutions used in the laboratory in accordance with established procedures. Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards as set by the hospital and laboratory.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- NYS Laboratory Technologist license or Clinical Laboratory Technician license from the NYS Education Department
