About The Position
The primary function of the Cylinder Services Technician is to refurbish and maintain Arc3 Gases’ cylinder fleet. The Cylinder Services Technician will perform other duties as directed, including cylinder painting and maintenance, loading and unloading trucks, and occasional administrative functions.
Requirements
- Basic reading and writing skills required.
- Willingness to learn all work duties required to refurbish cylinders required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Forklift license preferred.
- Computer experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess cylinders and determine necessary actions needed for redeployment.
- Assess fit and size of the specific valve according to cylinder type.
- Repair or replace cylinder valves as needed.
- Maintain inventory of all valves and consumables.
- Perform cylinder maintenance activities (cylinder painting, testing, etc.) as directed.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as directed.
- Complete required paperwork for maintaining/retesting cylinders.
- Complete required paperwork to track production.
- Work with a variety of hand tools.
- Comply with safety regulations and requirements as instructed.
- Ensure work area is well maintained and clean to present a company image of “excellence.”
- Present a professional image in appearance always.
- Attend training as required.
- Support fellow members of the Cylinder Services team.
- Perform other related duties as required.
