About The Position

This role requires you to process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures. You will conduct cylinder inspections to determine the need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling. Check for cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and fill any necessary product. Load and unload product from a weekly shuttle truck. Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment. Further, you will prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and key into the computer the quantities, styles, and products filled in order to justify the stock inventory. Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures, and operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.

Requirements

High school degree / GED
More than one (1+) year experience in plant or manufacturing environment
Good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills

A strong mechanical background is desired
