Cylinder Handler
About The Position
This role requires you to load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers; move cylinders by rolling and by operating a forklift. You will sort empty cylinders by type and check cylinder quantities, styles, and product specifications to support accurate inventory management. You will review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products onto trucks for delivery. Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area. Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments. This role includes completing both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed.
Requirements
- High school degree / GED
- More than one (1+) year experience in plant or manufacturing environment
- Good leadership skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills

- Strong mechanical background is desired
