About The Position

The Cycle Counter is responsible for performing daily/weekly cycle counts for raw materials, components, and finished goods. This role involves accurately recording and reconciling inventory data, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and analyzing the root causes of variances. The Cycle Counter will partner with various teams to correct inaccuracies, monitor inventory accuracy metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, this position will assist with annual physical inventory and audits, and support process improvements related to material tracking and usage.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Experience in inventory control within manufacturing (paper, packaging, or converting a plus)
• SAP or ERP system experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
• Ability to analyze discrepancies and problem-solve effectively
• Proficiency with Excel or inventory reporting tools
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment

• Associate degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/weekly cycle counts for raw materials (paper rolls), components, and finished goods
• Accurately record and reconcile inventory data within SAP or ERP system
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical stock and system records
• Analyze root causes of variances (production usage, scrap, receiving issues, etc.)
• Partner with production, warehouse, and purchasing teams to correct inaccuracies
• Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain documentation and compliance with inventory control procedures
• Assist with annual physical inventory and audits
• Support process improvements related to material tracking and usage
