Requirements

  • Working knowledge of SAP (WM).
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to read part numbers and production documentation.
  • Basic math skills and comfort working with data and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience with lot-controlled, serialized, or regulated inventory.
  • Prior experience supporting audits or SOX-controlled environments.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily and scheduled cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Accurately enter count results and documentation into SAP.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies by reviewing transactions, production movements, scrap, and shipping/receiving activity.
  • Work closely with Production, Receiving, Shipping, and Planning teams to resolve root causes of inventory variances.
  • Verify material locations, bin accuracy, and labeling compliance.
  • Support annual physical inventories and external/internal audits.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase inventory accuracy and control.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for inventory transactions and adjustments.
