About The Position

The Hershey Company is looking for a Cycle Counter to join their team in Edgerton, Kansas. This position is a KS Hub role, requiring the candidate to commute to three locations: Edgerton, Lawrence, and Lenexa for cycle counting duties. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.
  • Previous experience operating a Forklift.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, verbal and written.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Candidate must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Other inventory or warehouse management system experience highly preferred.
  • Food Manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Completes cycle counting either as scheduled or as requested by warehouse manager.
  • Checks inventory levels on packaged and raw materials as requested.
  • Manages specific inventory locations to ensure inventory is accurate.
  • Ensure warehouse space is utilized effectively along with remaining clean and safe environment.
  • Reports any inventory that is close to shelf life to prevent inventories from going out of date.
  • Suggests movement of product locations to maintain the most efficient locations.
  • Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
  • Attend required company meetings and training and participate in constructive discussion.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Dot’s Pretzels.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
