The Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting accurate and complete cycle counts according to schedules, straightening merchandise for efficient picking, and updating cycle count reports. This role involves auditing and correcting bin discrepancies, investigating missing items, reporting losses and trends to management, and filling out discrepancy sheets for traceable issues. The Cycle Counter will turn in both the Cycle Count Report and Discrepancy Sheets to the Cycle Count Lead. This position requires adaptability, strong collaboration skills, a customer-focused approach, initiative, and integrity. A high school diploma is required, with a college degree preferred. A minimum of two years of inventory control and/or cycle counting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and warehouse operations experience, is preferred. A valid driver's license and knowledge of inventory management are also preferred. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and RF Scanning are necessary, along with an understanding of general warehousing and distribution practices, including order picking, packing, and shipping. The role requires dedication and willingness to adjust schedules and hours as needed.
