This role provides support to the Materials Department by maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and other means.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work on schedule.
  • Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions.
  • Familiarity with basic tools, equipment, and materials used in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Willingness to work cooperatively with others and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality with consistent adherence to work schedules.
  • Willingness to take initiative, learn new skills, and perform tasks with minimal supervision when needed.
  • Commitment to following safety policies, company procedures, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and focus on repetitive or routine tasks while meeting company standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints
  • Understanding basic quality and environmental policies, including AS9100 and ISO 14001 principles.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one (1) to three (3) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to use (or learn) ERP systems, Plex knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift or ability to learn a plus
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environment.
  • Familiarity with quality or inspection procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with tools or machinery.
  • Desire and ability to grow into higher-skill or leadership roles over time.

Responsibilities

  • Execute small- and large-scale cycle counts accurately and repeatably in an efficient manner
  • Properly enters and maintains inventory data in our EPR system (location moves, merging/splitting, and control panel)
  • Participates in departmental continuous improvement efforts and support/implement lean initiatives
  • Completes work with a safety-first mindset and follows all EH&S policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Supports the company’s mission, vision, and values in performance of daily activities
  • Maintains high level of housekeeping in the work area, including 5S
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, external regulations, and legal requirements
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization
  • Other duties as directed by management/supervisor include but not limited to kitting
