About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Cycle Counter to join their team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring all entries, updates, and adjustments are correctly reflected in the warehouse management system. The Cycle Counter will perform daily inventory management activities to support accurate stock levels and operational reporting, process inventory adjustments for various product conditions (overages, shorts, damaged, or defective), and handle routine clerical tasks such as filing invoices and organizing inventory documentation. The position also involves ensuring customer orders are on time and complete by accurately checking and counting all inbound and outbound freight, verifying product quality, and researching inventory and shipping errors. Adherence to established inventory control procedures, safety rules, and work instructions is required, along with clear communication of inventory issues and progress to management. The ideal candidate will possess customer service orientation, warehouse operations knowledge, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up to date inventory records in alignment with site procedures.
  • Ensure all inventory entries, updates, and adjustments are correctly reflected in the warehouse management system.
  • Complete daily inventory management activities to support accurate stock levels and operational reporting.
  • Process inventory adjustments for overages, shorts, damaged, or defective product in accordance with policy.
  • Perform routine clerical tasks such as filing invoices, organizing inventory documentation, and maintaining audit ready records.
  • Follow all established inventory control procedures, safety rules, and work instructions.
  • Communicate inventory issues, progress updates, and findings clearly to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Inventory Control Supervisor to support inventory integrity and overall site performance.
  • Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
  • Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
  • Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
  • Research shipping errors and complete validation.
  • Check for product recalls.
  • Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
