About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cycle Counter for an onsite contract position with a Manufacturing Company located in Mount Hope, OH. This is a 6-8 week contract opportunity. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the manufacturing facility. The role involves performing scheduled cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, auditing inventory transactions, and supporting overall inventory control processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1-3 years of inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, manufacturing, or materials management experience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
Experience with Oracle ERP or equivalent ERP/MRP systems preferred
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and inventory reconciliations
Knowledge of inventory control principles and manufacturing processes
Ability to operate handheld scanners, computers, and inventory management equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, sit, squat, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods

Responsibilities

Support production readiness by performing daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of raw materials, works-in-process (WIP), purchased components, and finished goods
Verify inventory locations, quantities, lot numbers, and associated transaction records
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and document findings
Conduct physical inventory audits and assist with annual physical inventories
Ensure inventory records accurately reflect physical inventory conditions
Work closely and communicate frequently with Production, Materials, Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, and Warehouse teams
Review and validate inventory transactions within the ERP system
Support inventory adjustments as approved by management
Assist with troubleshooting material shortages and inventory concerns impacting production
