Maintains the department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance and overall profitability. Ensures products are available to the customer in a timely basis and all item parameters are accurately maintained in the product management software. This role requires a positive attitude, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent customer service skills. The specialist will assist store management with reporting functions, ensure inventory accuracy, and utilize product management software to minimize out-of-stocks and maintain correct item parameters. They will also be responsible for ensuring advertised items are priced and signed correctly, monitoring excess and obsolete inventory, and managing price changes and product information updates. Collaboration with DSD vendors and adherence to company policies are also key aspects of this role.
