About The Position

Peraton is seeking an experienced Cyberspace Intelligence Analyst to join our USCYBERCOM team located in the Fort Meade, MD area. This role involves leading and participating in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and Operational Planning Groups/Teams (OPGs/OPTs) to develop and integrate cyber capabilities into planned operations and support Combatant Commander regionally focused planning efforts. The analyst will contribute to the development of cyberspace operations through the analysis of intelligence products, performing a wide range of duties with limited guidance. A deep understanding of intelligence analytic concepts is required to monitor, assess, and report on cyberspace operations, capabilities, and vulnerabilities. The position also involves contributing substantive content to operational level reports, briefings, and Operational Plans (OPLANS), advising stakeholders, and coordinating actions without guidance. Additionally, the role includes developing, integrating, and maintaining operational Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), as well as evaluating countermeasure assessments and providing recommendations for implementation. The analyst will also contribute to the development of complex analytic approaches and recommendations for challenging situations where data may be incomplete, controversial, or without precedent.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst, with Cyber or SIGINT operations focus
  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Highly organized, flexible multi-tasker; strong attention to detail; excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated initiative solving problems in past roles and responsibilities
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with metrics and analyzing trend data
  • Experience as an Interactive On-Net Operator, Discovery Analyst or Exploitation Analyst (Basic, Intermediate or Senior) is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Leads and acts as a full participant in JPGs and OPG/OPTs developing and integrating cyber capabilities into planned operations, and in support of Combatant Commander regionally focused planning efforts
  • Contributes to the development of cyberspace operations through the analysis of intelligence products; performs a vast array of cyberspace intelligence analyst duties with limited guidance
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of intelligence analytic concepts to monitor, assess, and report on cyberspace operations, capabilities, and vulnerabilities
  • Contributes substantive content for operational level reports, briefings, and Operational plans (OPLANS)
  • With no guidance, advises stakeholders and coordinates actions
  • Develops, integrates, and maintains operational TTPs, SOPs, and Concept of Operations (CONOPs)
  • Evaluates countermeasure assessments and provides recommendations to leadership on implementation of countermeasures
  • Contributes substantive content to the development of complex analytic approaches and recommendations to problems and situations for which data are incomplete, controversial, or which no precedence exists
