About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. Mission Technologies delivers advanced cyber, electronic warfare (EW), and space capabilities to confront today’s rapidly evolving global security challenges. Our Cyber & Intelligence team is at the forefront of multi-domain operations, anticipating emerging threats, and shaping the future of national defense. Our cyber professionals operate on the cutting edge of cyberspace, delivering strategic effects and operational options in a dynamic threat landscape. We are currently seeking a Cyberspace Analyst to support a new initiative with one of our key clients. This effort focuses on unifying the strategic direction of cyberspace operations, enhancing the Department of Defense’s cyber capabilities, and integrating cyber expertise across the DoD enterprise. This contract supports ongoing operations within a combatant command. During periods of conflict, crisis, or other significant operational shifts, mission requirements may change rapidly. Additionally, when staffing adjustments occur, work schedules may need to be modified to maintain essential coverage. Accordingly, work shifts may be adjusted based on customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline and five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration

Responsibilities

  • Developing recommendations and COAs to solve complex cybersecurity problems.
  • Coordinating cyberspace operations with DOD Component Commands / Services / Agencies / Field Activities or Intelligence Agencies or Law Enforcement or U.S. Government organizations.
  • Performing research and analysis of cybersecurity capabilities to satisfy data protection requirements.
  • Reporting and presenting intelligence and information to others.
  • Demonstrating expertise on the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors and methods of exploitation, the utilization, configuration, and implementation of industry capabilities including web content filters, email security.
  • Coordination and support on cyber-related incidents and issues to include Malware Analysis Reports, Alerts regarding potential malicious activity, and Suspicious Contact Reports.
  • Engaging with FCC or DIB on network protection.
