About The Position

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for cybersecurity and systems-programming professionals with experience in vulnerability analysis, security classification, low-level programming, and structured review of technically complex content. This role supports an AI initiative focused on improving how advanced models identify, classify, and reason about potential security vulnerabilities. Selected professionals will create, solve, and review realistic cybersecurity problems while applying strong pattern-recognition skills across systems programming, web security, common attack vectors, and established vulnerability frameworks.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional programming, cybersecurity, application security, or systems-engineering experience
  • Experience with low-level or systems-oriented languages such as C, C++, or Java
  • Familiarity with vulnerability classification frameworks such as OWASP, CVEs, or related standards
  • Strong understanding of web security and common attack vectors
  • Excellent attention to detail and pattern-recognition ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently within an asynchronous remote environment
  • Current residence in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand
  • Ability to successfully complete an enhanced background check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in application security, penetration testing, secure code review, or vulnerability research
  • Knowledge of memory corruption, injection attacks, authentication weaknesses, and access-control failures
  • Familiarity with static analysis, dynamic analysis, fuzzing, or security-testing tools
  • Experience interpreting CVE reports, vulnerability disclosures, or security advisories
  • Background in threat modelling, incident response, or security engineering
  • Previous involvement in AI evaluation, technical annotation, model benchmarking, or structured content review
  • Familiarity with software-development lifecycles and secure coding standards

Responsibilities

  • Review technical content for potential security weaknesses and exploitable patterns
  • Identify and classify vulnerabilities using recognised security frameworks
  • Assess whether proposed findings accurately reflect the relevant threat, attack surface, and potential impact
  • Distinguish genuine security concerns from benign or incorrectly classified behaviour
  • Create challenging problems grounded in realistic cybersecurity and systems-programming scenarios
  • Develop accurate and well-structured reference solutions
  • Design tasks involving web security, memory safety, input validation, access control, and common attack vectors
  • Ensure problems reflect practical security analysis rather than purely theoretical concepts
  • Review code and technical explanations involving C, C++, Java, or related programming languages
  • Evaluate classifications referencing OWASP categories, CVEs, or comparable vulnerability taxonomies
  • Identify reasoning gaps, unsupported conclusions, and missed security implications
  • Provide clear written explanations supporting each review decision
  • Work asynchronously with cybersecurity and programming specialists
  • Review tasks and solutions developed by other contributors
  • Apply consistent standards across vulnerability identification and classification workflows
  • Participate in onboarding, calibration, and quality-review activities
