About The Position

A Hawaii-based Managed Security Services company is hiring a technical professional to investigate and troubleshoot computer network problems and implement IT best practices for local private-sector companies. The position offers an opportunity for an IT technician to develop into a cybersecurity professional while supporting IT infrastructure, endpoint management security, consulting, and technology services. Candidates must reside on Oahu, be available during standard business hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m.), have a car, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds unaided. Compensation is $22–$28 per hour, plus bonuses.

Requirements

Proficiency with Windows workstations and servers, Mac OS, and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure, Intune, and Microsoft cloud systems.
Ability to resolve virus and malware threats.
Solid networking skills, including configuring firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi access points.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging IT security technologies.
Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
A growth mindset demonstrated through self-initiated learning and skill development.
Must be a resident of Oahu and live around the Oahu area.
Consistency, punctuality, and precise written communication.
Professional demeanor and presentation.
Availability during standard business hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m.).
Must possess a car.
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unaided.
