Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support a highly complex Information Assurance program. In this role, you’ll work at the forefront of national security, ensuring advanced systems meet the highest standards of security, performance, and compliance. As a trusted technical leader, you will: Contribute to the development and evaluation of key systems engineering documentation, including: Systems Engineering Plans Initial Capabilities Documents Requirements Specifications Security requirements and security test documentation Provide technical leadership across system development, integration, and testing activities Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and functional allocation efforts Conduct systems requirements reviews and perform both technical and non-technical assessments Support planning and test analysis for the DoD Certification & Accreditation (C&A) process and other Government C&A processes Perform high-assurance cybersecurity evaluation activities for devices undergoing certification Review and assess security artifacts to ensure compliance with stringent security requirements Clearly document security deficiencies and provide actionable recommendations Translate vulnerability insights into practical risk mitigation guidance Recommend improvements to requirements, processes, and templates to strengthen overall security posture Collaborate across teams and participate in security-focused meetings and technical reviews
