About The Position

Cybersecurity Specialist The Opportunity: As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), conducting scans, applying STIGs, maintaining ATOs, and impacting our nation’s Navy to maintain a leading edge against adversaries. In this role, you’ll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to Countermeasure Systems, directly enabling the Navy to continue supporting operations worldwide. This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership or commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for US Navy. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome difficult challenges by integrating the DoD RMF into existing systems. Requirements

  • Experience with DoD assessment and authorization (A&A) or DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and scanning tools, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and assessing system compliance with security controls
  • Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and developing DoD authorization artifacts and documentation
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • CGRC, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, SSCP, Security+, GSEC, CISM, CISSO, FITSP-M, GCIA, GCSA, GCIH, GSLC, GICSP, or ISSMP Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD processes and Cybersecurity engineering
  • Experience with processing an Authorization to Operate (ATO) for a Navy program
  • Experience with leading teams providing Cybersecurity engineering, A&A, or Cybersecurity risk mitigation services
  • Experience with developing risk mitigations for highly classified programs
  • Experience with NIST 800-53 security controls and developing requirements to satisfy controls
  • Experience with Mine Warfare systems, including Surface Mine Countermeasures
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • IASAE Level III, including CISSP-ISSEP or CISSP-ISSAP, Certification
  • Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
