About The Position

The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for developing all applicable documents required to meet contracted Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRLS) which relay the cybersecurity posture to our customers. Individual responsibilities include interacting with customers and authorization officials to define and achieve required Cybersecurity objectives. They will work with design engineers and program management and corporate IT to collect cybersecurity related information to pass along to the customer. They also maintain awareness of the most recent system security policies and directives, and assist Systems Engineers and other Cybersecurity Specialists with the analysis of user and system requirements and constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related cybersecurity experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related cybersecurity experience.
• DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Security Engineering with accreditation experience.
• Analyzing system specifications and translating to cybersecurity requirements.
• Well versed in NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53r4 standards.
• Sets highest ethical standards for self and others.
• Security+ certification, CISSP.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a must.
• Familiarity with Platform Information Technology (PIT).
• Experience hardening Windows based operating systems.
• Experience with routers and firewalls.
• Experience with systems integration.
