About The Position

NikSoft Systems Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect/Engineer to join its team in support of the United States Postal Service's Cybersecurity program. This role involves applying expert-level AI/ML analytic approaches to large volumes of data from disparate sources to uncover cybersecurity threats and fraud schemes. The position requires leveraging Databricks to develop analytic solutions using Python, SQL, and R, and responding to ad hoc requests from stakeholders. The individual will work across business units to identify, collect, aggregate, and analyze new data sources, and recommend remediation solutions for identified gaps in USPS systems and processes to deter cybersecurity threats and fraudulent activity.

Requirements

  • Applicant must be an expert with data science and AI/ML concepts used for fraud detection.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML solution development, data science practice, data strategy and governance, and customer and stakeholder engagement – all developed over many years of client work delivering solutions.
  • Ability to design AI-powered solutions, integrating large language models, computer vision, and advanced analytics into secure, high-performing environments.
  • Ability to direct specialized teams comprising of data scientists, data engineers, and business intelligence specialists driving key AI and advanced technology solutions across secure environments.
  • Manages delivery across multiple engagements including business intelligence, technology and tradecraft, financial operations, workforce analytics, cyber, artificial intelligence, risk management, and product development to enhance organizational performance (Python, SQL, Tableau, AWS).
  • Advanced skills applying AI/ML tools to accelerate business activities including but not limited to programming and script development.
  • Expert level knowledge of AI/ML Solution Architecture.
  • Expert level knowledge of Data Science and Advanced Analytics.
  • Expert level knowledge of Technology Strategy and Implementation.
  • Expert level knowledge of Data Strategy and Governance.
  • Expert level knowledge of MLOps and Model Lifecycle Management.
  • Expert level knowledge of Azure Databricks.
  • Expert level knowledge of Python, SQL, R Development.
  • 10+ years of overall cybersecurity architecture and/or engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the cybersecurity domain related to fraud detection solution development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent practical enterprise experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Clearance (US Citizenship or Green Card required).
  • Must not have traveled outside of the USA for a combined period not to exceed 6 months within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Apply expert level AI/ML analytic approaches to large volume of data from disparate sources to uncover cybersecurity threats and fraud schemes against the organization.
  • Leverage Databricks to develop analytic solutions using Python, SQL, and R to create, interpret, visualize, and report on complex data to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders to investigate concerns.
  • Work across business units to identify, collect, aggregate, analyze new data sources, and advance the team's mission and reduce the time needed to deliver analytical insights.
  • Highlight and analyze gaps in USPS systems and processes, as well as recommend remediation solutions to more effectively deter cybersecurity threats and fraudulent activity.
