About The Position

The Cybersecurity Solution Architect will define the target architecture for the modernized VMAD platform and ensure that application, data, analytics, security graph, integration, and infrastructure components meet enterprise security and scalability requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of cybersecurity, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture experience.
  • Strong experience with relational databases, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management, threat intelligence, attack-path analysis, and exposure management along with data analytics
  • Experience designing security-data platforms, analytics solutions, or security graphs.
  • Experience with Azure, snowflake and other tools.
  • Understanding of IAM, encryption, network segmentation, secure SDLC, and DevSecOps.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the current VMAD architecture, data flows, integrations, processing components, databases, prioritization logic, and portal.
  • Define the target-state architecture for the data pipelines, analytics services, security graph, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Develop architecture patterns for secure ingestion, validation, normalization, reconciliation, deduplication, and vulnerability prioritization.
  • Design integrations with vulnerability scanners, CMDBs, asset inventories, threat intelligence platforms, Illumio, Forward Networks, and other security systems.
  • Define security controls covering authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, API security, audit logging, and data protection.
  • Establish architecture standards for scalability, resiliency, maintainability, observability, and disaster recovery.
  • Provide guidance on OCSF-aligned security-data models and vulnerability taxonomy.
  • Review solution designs and code for architectural compliance.
  • Produce architecture decision records, logical and physical diagrams, integration specifications, and deployment patterns.
