Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years in Risk Register Design and Framework development
  • 8+ years' experience designing and implementing Risk Scoring and Prioritization Models
  • Proven track record with Governance Processes and Workflow design
  • Deep experience in stakeholder engagement and enablement within enterprise environments
  • Exceptional documentation skills and ability to conduct effective knowledge transfer

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced certifications in cybersecurity risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISSP)
  • Experience within regulated industries or large-scale enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with leading GRC tools and platforms

Responsibilities

  • Architect and launch end-to-end governance workflows for risk identification, review, acceptance, mitigation, and ongoing monitoring
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities for risk owners, reviewers, and governance teams
  • Develop and document escalation and reporting protocols for high-risk and accepted risks
  • Lead stakeholder engagement sessions across business, technology, security, and governance functions to validate and socialize risk requirements
  • Facilitate workshops to introduce and operationalize the risk register and governance processes
  • Onboard initial risks into the enterprise risk register, ensuring comprehensive coverage
  • Produce audit-ready documentation including risk register structure, scoring methodology, and decision authority matrices
  • Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to empower security staff for sustainable risk management post-engagement
  • Provide standardized deliverables: risk register framework, scoring/prioritization model, governance model, initial risk population, and final documentation package
