About The Position

As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with client mission objectives and organizational priorities. This role leads cross-functional teams, manages risk, and applies deep technical and project management expertise to safeguard enterprise assets and advance strategic goals. The manager collaborates across departments and with external partners, leveraging strong communication and analytical skills to solve security challenges and deliver impactful results.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in information security
  • 8+ years of experience managing IT or cybersecurity projects, including planning, execution, and closing projects
  • Experience with cybersecurity or IT security protocols, risk assessment, and threat management
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating across departments
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and project management principles
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or Cybersecurity
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) Certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery of mission-critical solutions on-time and within scope.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success and foster collaboration across the enterprise.
  • Apply deep expertise in cybersecurity and project management principles to assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address complex security challenges.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
  • Communicate technical concepts and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, promoting transparency and understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Analyze security incidents and vulnerabilities, leveraging strong problem-solving skills to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support project objectives and enhance organizational resilience.
