About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. This role involves managing project resources to ensure compliance with key governance priorities and objectives, driving governance activities related to security controls and access management. The position requires managing the documentation of services, processes, policies, and controls. It also involves directing resource activities to enhance service quality and productivity through metrics and monitoring, leading knowledge management for continuous improvement, and managing the service quality process with a focus on lifecycle service management. Additionally, the role includes leading communication, promotion, and internal marketing efforts to track growth objectives, demonstrating service effectiveness through customer satisfaction and value capture, and ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation of all service activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; Cybersecurity or Computer Science; or extensive equivalent experience in an management position.
  • A minimum of 5 years management experience, including experience in enterprise security governance and in identity and access management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience communicating and presenting at senior executive/director levels (IT Director, VP, CIO, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of information security (CISM, CRISC, CISSP a plus).
  • Experience leading cybersecurity project efforts in an enterprise level setting.
  • Broad cybersecurity experience, including familiarity with technology deployment projects
  • Understanding of cybersecurity governance concepts and exposure to various frameworks (e.g. -- NIST, COBIT, ISO, CMMC)

Responsibilities

  • Managing the project resources to ensure compliance and alignment with key governance priorities and objectives, as well as ensuring the service aligns with governance expectations.
  • Driving governance activities with familiarity around security controls and access management.
  • Managing the process and resources by which the service, process, policies and controls are documented.
  • Directing the activities of resources to increase the quality and productivity of the service through measurement and monitoring of key metrics -- driving quality improvement by refining service metrics, quality dashboards and analytics.
  • Leading the knowledge management process to support continuing quality improvement.
  • Managing the service quality process with an eye toward lifecycle service management.
  • Leading the communication, promotion and internal marketing activities while helping tracking achievement toward growth objectives such as adoption rates by business unit, division or function.
  • Demonstrating service effectiveness by gauging customer satisfaction, collecting various service statistics and capturing ongoing value to both internal customers and stakeholders.
