About The Position

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst with a Top Secret clearance. This role involves reviewing, consolidating, and developing cybersecurity policy in accordance with government approval. The analyst will provide technical support and assistance to programs, assess IT policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures to ensure a balance of security and operational requirements, and brief senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress. The position is located at DLA Land and Maritime in Columbus, OH, and operates in an office environment with a low noise level. The work schedule is typically day shift Monday – Friday, but may require evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. This position supports an upcoming government contract proposal and is contingent upon contract award and government approval. Candidates must meet all stated requirements and may be required to sign a Letter of Commitment (LOC).

Requirements

Seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience.
Experienced in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its cybersecurity policies, procedures, and process.
CSSP Analyst certification (one of the following: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CyberSec First Responder (CFR), Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CySA+), CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA PenTest+, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)).
Top Secret, IT-I clearance.
U.S. Citizen.
Eligible for SCI.

Responsibilities

Reviews, consolidates, and develops with government approval cybersecurity policy in accordance with DOD implementation.
Provides technical support and assistance to programs and assesses IT policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures to ensure a balance of security and operational requirements.
Briefs senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress.
