About The Position

Provide support, execution, and management services to a high visibility DoD information assurance client. Provide onsite policy and technical analytical support for Federal Information Security Management Act, cybersecurity policy compliance, high risk package reviews, and risk management framework continuous monitoring. Assist with investigating impacts and provide analytical support for implementation recommendations regarding changes and additions to existing policies and the production of new policy analysis. Participate in internal and external cybersecurity policy working groups, support the advocacy of the Department of the Navy interests, and prepare memorandums, decision packages, point papers, briefings, and messages. Conduct in-depth reviews of DoD and Joint staff manuals and instructions to assess security, operational, and resource impact and develop technical content.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with capability definition and the operation of Information Technology
  • Experience with the DoD or Department of the Navy
  • Ability to develop and brief material to senior client leadership to support decision-making
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IT Cybersecurity policy, compliance, and standards for the Department of the Navy or DoD
