About The Position

As a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and leverages cloud capabilities. You will develop container management software to solve complex client challenges. This role involves honing skills using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments with current container software for seamless orchestration. You will support the team by informing strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process, and recommending resources for secure container adoption. You will also strengthen your DevOps skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments.
  • 4+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI / CD pipeline failures or slowness.
  • 2+ years of experience operating Kubernetes in production such as ECK and AWS, including GovCloud.
  • 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity fundamentals in infrastructure, platform, or security operations contexts including SIEM, vulnerability management, or incident response.
  • Experience with DoD cloud and cybersecurity environments.
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions.
  • Experience developing, managing, and securing containers.
  • Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
  • Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
  • Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
  • Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script.
  • Master's degree.
