About The Position

The Cybersecurity Platform Engineer role focuses on developing, managing, and securing a container platform that leverages cloud capabilities. The engineer will develop container management software to address client challenges, utilizing the latest cloud technologies for seamless orchestration. This role involves informing strategy and design, ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process, and recommending resources for secure container adoption. It's an opportunity to strengthen DevOps skills while supporting critical cloud platforms and using technology for positive impact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments.
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions.
  • Experience developing, managing, and securing containers.
  • Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
  • Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
  • Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
  • Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Linux Shell Script.
  • Master’s degree.
