About The Position

The Cybersecurity PKI Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available PKI solutions aligned with Navy and DoW standards and long-term technology strategy. The candidate will maintain accurate PKI documentation, including certificate inventories, system configurations, architectural diagrams, operational procedures, and technical standards. They will evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of new technologies, tools, products, and processes that enhance the PKI environment and overall operational efficiency. A successful candidate will partner with engineers, security teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to define, design, and deliver solutions that meet operational and technical requirements.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on trust, certificates, and PKI and IdAM infrastructure
Experience with PKI hardware and software core components
Experience with automated certificate management
Experience with Department of the Defense (DoD) RMF process
Experience with eMASS package submission process and workflow
Knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or Information Security
DoD 8140 Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud security such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Experience with security automation and orchestration
Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies
CSWF DOD 8750 IAM Level III Certifications such as CISSP, CASP, or Security+ Certification

Responsibilities
