About The Position

Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to provide support for the Executive Airlift Communications Network (EACN) support task order, which provides Command, Control, Communications (C3) services for multiple critical U.S. Government missions via multiple Air to Global Information Grid (GIG) Gateways (A2G2’s) supported by a Systems Integration Lab (SIL). This is a full-time position located on-site at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) in Andrews, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
  • Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Service Management (CIS-ITSM)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Eight (8) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Senior Leader Command, Control, Communications Systems-Airborne (SLC3S-A) Operations, Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Operations, Air Force Global Strike Command’s (AFGSC) E-4B aircraft, also known as the National Airborne Operations Center (NAOC), and U.S. Navy E-6B Mercury aircraft.
  • Provide support to EACN Air to GIG Gateways (A2G2s), EACN Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL), and the Government Security Operations Center (GSOC).
  • Identify, diagnose, mitigate, and report any service interruptions, including mitigation of identified cyber incidents/vulnerabilities/network attacks (as described within DAFI 17-10, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology (IT) within the Executive Airlift environment.
  • Drive resolution by coordinating with internal and external teams to identify the root cause, restore service with workarounds if necessary, and communicate status to affected stakeholders throughout and following the incident.
  • Utilize the Incident Response Plan and document the details of the event in ServiceNow to optimize response actions.
  • Coordinate changes across the application environments, ensuring correct procedures are followed and changes are accurately recorded, scheduled, and controlled.
  • Provide daily ticket reviews, updates, and reports.
  • Execute common business processes and framework through IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices, and have a working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM platform.
