Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in managing and registering Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) within the PPSM central registry.
  • Proficiency in implementing and enforcing PPSM policies.
  • Capable of reviewing software, hardware, and PPS against approved lists.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and application security.
  • Ability to manage PPSM in support of network changes, including cloud migrations.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (no Dual Citizenship).
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CAP).
  • Familiarity with DoD and/or IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all information systems' Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) accessible to managed networks are registered in the PPSM central registry.
  • Protecting and using PPS according to the latest vulnerability assessment reports.
  • Implementing PPS according to the current DoD STIGs on network infrastructure and application security.
  • Reviewing software, hardware, and PPS against approved lists.
  • Performing access blocking as per policies.
  • Managing PPSM in support of network changes, such as cloud migrations.
