As a Cybersecurity Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of GDIT GCIO - Digital Technology Office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring: ● Lead/Manage/Support enterprise Vulnerability Management operations by guiding a vulnerability management team responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and driving remediation of security weaknesses across the enterprise ● Collaborate with cross‑functional cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure vulnerabilities are analyzed, communicated, and remediated in alignment with enterprise hardening and compliance requirements ● Drive continuous improvement in vulnerability reduction, hardening efforts, and remediation workflows through data‑driven insights, process optimization, and innovative approaches to reduce organizational risk ● Utilize vulnerability scanning platforms such as Qualys, Crowdstrike, Wiz or Security scorecard, risk scoring tools, remediation tracking systems, and enterprise security frameworks to enhance vulnerability visibility and hardening effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Vulnerability scanning tools, enterprise remediation workflows, hardening frameworks (e.g., CIS, STIG), risk analysis, reporting, orchestration

Responsibilities
